The removable tie belt is the detail I didn't know I needed — I can cinch it after a shower or leave it open while lounging. The fabric dries fast too, which matters when you're using it at the beach.

The terry cloth is surprisingly airy, not the heavy scratchy kind I was bracing for. I wore it straight out of the shower and it dried me off without feeling damp and clingy, and the tie belt actually stays put. The relaxed sleeves make it easy to move around in too.
